I have been using the METAR placefile to see obs data in GR and have found what could be a possible bug. It's something that I saw, particularly this morning, in the Boston area (KBOX).
The raw report will state that there is freezing rain or drizzle but the icon that shows up in GR indicates fog. The other precip types seem to display properly except freezing rain.
If you could look into that, it would be useful for quickly identifying freezing rain cases for analysis purposes.

I made a fix to the fullobs.php and obs.php scripts and that should fix the problem. However, there may well be a few weather icon errors or rare metar precip reports I haven't accounted for, so if anyone notices, let me know so I can fix it. Thanks again.
