Having the same issues. Placefiles come in every now and again, but mostly do not update.

I am having a weird issue with my METAR placefiles. When I load my GR2Analyst with the startup site GRB the obs do not plot. However if I choose another radar such as MKX the obs will plot. If I then switch back to GRB the obs will be there and everything is fine. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or can you test this for me? This only happens if I start GR2AE as site GRB, if I start the software as any other side the observations will load fine. FWIW I am on 2.90 of GR2AE

There have been ongoing issues with the ADDS site that have filtered down to affect the metar placefiles

Thanks Ryan. I have noticed that METAR placefiles from other sources are not affected, although they are not looping placefiles. I appreciate the response!

They seem to be more stable over the last few days. Probably a good idea to have the non-looping versions loaded into the placefile manager as well
