The RedTeamWX website has changed little since its inception in December 2011. Given the host/server problems in August and the recent move to a better, more reliable server, I thought it was time to give redteamwx a different look/feel. As of September 5, 2013, the new website is largely complete and online! In addition to the new look, I've got some cool new features I plan to roll out over the coming weeks/months, including a data archive that will allow users to look at SPC mesoanalysis data (national AND regional sectors) from the past week, in addition to archived raobs, satellite imagery, lightning data (very coarse), METARs, etc. As far as I can tell, there is no other website (including SPC) that archives the regional mesoanalysis data for any period of time, let alone the variety of additional data I plan to make available, and all for free. I'm also working on a 'case study' placefile generator that will create a METAR placefile for a user specified time to match up with archived level II or level III radar data in GR. additionally, I plan on creating new real-time placefiles, as well.
